So I have brought the site back up! Woo-hoo! For now this part is going to remain the same. I plan on getting the new layout working as well, which can be found at nr2007.com/new. For now though the original site will still be nr2007.com.

If you want, you can check out my personal web page at jimmays.com, although it is still very buggy in all versions of IE... although it seems to work perfect in Safari and Firefox... hmmmm ;-). I am also going to have these test links up.

Well it appears I have gotten a few more visitors! I appreciate that. Well the past few months have been very hectic for me as my life seems to be unfolding right in front of me.

First let me say that I work at Circuit City full time in computer sales which as anyone will know, takes a lot of effort and time out of your nights. So I have had little time to program (or I chose to spend what time I had on other things). Well on a whim I went back to the site and found twice as many visitors to a stagnant site! That's great! Now the only thing that will drive this site is content and besides bcat129's car, I am the only person to post here. Now as I have said this is a free sign up site where I can host 15mb files for anyone. That is more than enough to host any track or anything else.

Now if anyone editors out there don't have a site to host their files, I would love to host them for you. NR2003 has been the greatest sim community ever and I would love to give back. This site however, is all I have. The forums work and any user can upload a file and/or post all he/she wishes.

Well now I am getting ready for a move cross country from southern-NH all the way out to San Mateo, California in about a month. Hopefully when I'm there I can start some mods of my own and we can drive visitors to this site and maybe more mods.

Well until next time, I'm off to bed, but thanks for the visits! We'll see where this goes!

Ok so I have Windows Vista and it has been bugging me that I couldn't play this game online. I would always get an error 2: Unable to load network device or something like that. I've tried almost everything I could to get it working. I then came across the 'Games' menu and saw NR2003. I right clicked on it and went to customize. I then went into edit the first play button and saw a tab called compatibility, and there it was: Run this program in compatibility mode for... followed by a list of modes (like XP SP 2, Windows 2000 and more). I chose Windows XP (Service Pack 2), checked the run as administrator check box and opened the game, and presto! Online! I'm not sure anyone reported having any problems with Vista and NR2003 but I was having problems and that is how I fixed it.

For the awesome accomplishment of 1,000 visitors I have made the official NR2007.com car! It is a 2006 Dodge Charger with crew and ratings. I will get the site ready for user preferences soon. I have been really busy but I hope to have it set in a little bit. Most of the work is done already fortunatley. More to come!

Talladega 2006 Repaved Update 2

This is another (and hopefully final) update to the Talladega track I made. I have made the track darker (upon request) and have added the soft walls too (also upon request). I have been checking the video of the Talladega truck race and although it may not be correct according to logos and everyhting, everything else should be fine. This was made with the hopes of going online racing. The AI is still very racey and goes 4-wide and for all of you who are used to racing online all the wall logos should be all right to use as your lifting points to pit! (I know I use 'em!). You don't need to download any other files for this to work. This tracks installs itself on its own. The previous versions of this track are not required.

This is a repost of the Talladega 2006 track. Info on the brief history of this track is in the forum. This has the higher grippy high line just like the "BR" tracks. I will see if I want to notify nr2k3tracks.com of this track. I think I will post nnracing.com though. ***** NO LONGER SUPPORTED, DOWNLOAD THE NEWEST VERSION ******

This is my first upload in a while (seems to be years in between) and this is the first one I have renders for. Credit goes out to Tugnut for the template, BOTW for the logos, bubbles and numbers by me. Comes with crew and is rated. Thanks MasGrafx for the cars on track composites.
